John Abraham says a lot of hard work has been put into making ‘Pathaan’

Bollywood actor John Abraham has thanked fans for the positive response to the trailer of his upcoming film “Pathaan.” The action spy thriller, which is produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Siddharth Anand, is set to be released on January 25 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. In a post on his Instagram Stories, John Abraham described “Pathaan” as a “biggie” that is the result of a lot of hard work. He also praised the film’s producer Aditya Chopra for giving him “some of my best roles” of his career.

The trailer of “Pathaan” was released on Tuesday, and it opens with Abraham-led mercenary outfit Outfit X wreaking havoc and announcing an impending attack on the Indian soil, spelling the end of exile for Shah Rukh Khan’s spy Pathaan. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana.

John Abraham, who is celebrating 20 years in the film industry next week, said, “In my years in cinema, this moment, right here… Right now, is a special one. It’s amazing that you have showered so much love on the trailer of Pathaan. A lot of hard work has been put into making this one. It’s a biggie.” He also added that he can’t wait for the audience to see what director Siddharth Anand has done with the film and his role. He urged fans to wait for the release of the film on January 25 to see it for themselves.
